Join us for a full Bob Ross–style painting experience on a 16×20 canvas — designed for beginners and equally valuable for painters who want to strengthen their foundation. This approximately 2-hour class walks you step by step through creating a beautiful scene featuring all of Bob’s favorites: clouds, mountains, lakes, and trees, with plenty of room to make it your own.

This class is intentionally built to be repeatable. While the core elements stay the same, the techniques and approaches will change from session to session. One class might explore creating clouds with a fan brush, while another uses a 1-inch brush. Trees may be built with a fan brush one time and a filbert brush the next. You’ll also experiment with different ways of layering paint, blending color, and controlling pressure — all key skills in this style of painting.

We’ll begin by prepping the canvas with liquid white and talk through how each element builds on the last. Along the way, you’ll learn brush techniques, color blending, and layering methods that become stronger and more natural with repetition. Each class wraps up with guidance on finishing touches — including how to confidently sign your painting.
